Your side believes it’s a zero sum game.  Don’t lay that on me.

Jeff, this is silly. Obama was reminding the Boehner crowd that he was the person occupying the office of the President, and that they could not dictate his policies to him. You can say it was rude or impolitic if you like, but I thought it was a necessary retort in the cirucmstances. As such it’s very weak evidence for belief in a zero-sum game.
